"The Event", "Painting Class", "Workshop", Means any event or function organised or advertised by us. "You", "Customer", “Participant” Means the person who has signed a booking form and/or paid for a class, art party, art event or painting commission. "The Group" means the group of customers involved in a class or event.

1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS. These terms and conditions govern the contract between you and us to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions save for those implied by law, and no important variation to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless in writing. Riviera Art & Co operates in accordance with the laws of France in accordance with Europe, excluding all jurisdiction from other territories / countries.

2. FORMATION OF CONTRACT. We strongly advise that you check all the information available on our online website at the time of your booking, as well as on the booking form of the service you purchase at the time of purchase. No part of this agreement shall confer on any third party any benefit or right to enforce any terms of this agreement.

3. LEAD NAME. You fully agree that the person purchasing any of our classes or events is the person attending the event.

4. PAYMENT AND PAYMENT METHODS

Online card payment. Please note that as mentioned in choices of mediums used during classes or other events on the booking form at check-out, you will be asked to pay a meterials supplement, payable in cash at the class or venue if you choose the materials-included option.

Cash. Please note that you can pay for any of our classes or events in cash provided we have a written emailed confirmation from you confirming attendance.

Bank Transfer. Classes, events and custom painting commissions can be purchased by bank transfer. Please contact us before making a bank transfer.

5. SALES, COUPONS, DISCOUNTS: A completed purchase cannot be changed for a discounted offer or sale. There will be no refund for any purchase made before a special offer. We reserve the right to change or withdraw sales without prior notice. A discounted offer cannot be combined with another.

6. PERSONAL INSURANCE You agree to hold a valid personal insurance policy which should cover you in the case where you would not be able to attend an event you have booked and paid with us. Your insurance policy must cover you in the case of injury or an accident while attending any of our events. t should also cover all health issues and personal accident (including slip and fall), personal liability, as well as any emergency and all legal expense. We cannot be held accountable for your no-show due public failure, strikes, issues with your car, car accident or other mishaps preventing you from attending our event. You agree that Riviera Art & Co will not be held responsible for any failed insurance claims made by you to your insurance company.

8. WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED in our classes or events? We have a choice of classes and events with or without material.

9. YOU WISH TO CANCEL AN ONLINE PURCHASED an individual class or event. No refund in case of no-show or cancelling less than 48 hours before the event, class or workshop

The right of withdrawal applicable to purchases concluded off premises are governed by French law under Articles L121-21 to L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code: You may cancel your purchase within 14 days by sending a registered letter with recorded delivery to our office address Riviera Art & Co, 9 Rue des Emeraudes, 83520 Roquebrune Sur Argens, France. A refund will be issued within 14 days of recorded cancellation, provided you did not attend the class of event you are wishing to cancel.

9.1 YOU WISH TO CANCEL AN ONLINE PURCHASED course. No refund in case of no-show. No refund in case or cancelling less than 48 hours before the event, class or workshop. No discount in case of tardiness. You may cancel a course purchased online for 14 days provided the course has not yet started. In the case where the course had started and you have attended one or two weekly classes within 14 days of your purchase, a partial refund can be issued for the classes you will not attend following your cancellation. You will need to send a registered letter to our registered address.

9.2 YOU WISH TO CANCEL AN ONLINE COMMISSION ORDER. Please review the commission’s agreement and its specifications in this case scenario.

10. SPECIAL BEHAVIOUR AND COVID NOTE: You are to behave at all times in a responsible manner during our events. Hands must be clean, and a mask must be worn. Participants who miss one or classes or event due to Covid related issues will be able to attend future events in the place of the ones missed for a period of 6 months.

11. CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING BY US. Riviera Art & Co reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class or event. In case of cancellation by us, you will be given a choice between rescheduling a purchased workshop/event or a refund.

12. OUR OBLIGATIONS We shall take reasonable care in providing quality services and products with all applicable laws in relation to the event.

13. RIGHT OF IMAGE. You agree to appear in photos on our website, advertisements and social media pages. You may notify us of any disagreement by e-mail or a registered letter 48 hours before the date of the class or event.

13(1). PHOTOS All photographs and illustrations on our website are for marketing purposes and represent overall general standards of our products, classes, workshops and events.

14. CHANGES TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. We will inform all clients booked on events of any major changes in the case where Terms become less favourable to our clients. Should you disagree with the announced changes, please contact us by email or mail.

15. CLOTHING You are advised to wear appropriate clothing during our art events. We hold no responsibility for any staining on your clothing caused by you or any member of the participants by our materials.  

16. RESPONSIBILITY We hold no responsibility if you become ill, are personally injured (fall, road accident, or any other injury) or decease during a class, workshop or event period. We hold no responsibility for incidents or accidents resulting as a personal over consumption of alcohol, at a Paint & Sip. You are responsible for your personal insurance during our classes, workshops or events. You are responsible for complying with our Terms and Conditions.
